Olympic Star apartments is a new building with nice architect style, comfortable, nice
colors, view, quiet, safety and very clean. There are total 18 units, 7 studios and 11
apartments with separate bedroom for 1-4 guests.
Note that if you try to book one of these apartments, they are unlikely to reply to email,
and they will tell you that the prices shown on their website are 4 years out of date, the
current prices are 50% or more higher (by the way, the "last-modified" header on the prices
page on the webserver says Mon, 20 Dec 2004 14:46:59 GMT).

Squats
For totally money free accommodation there are two squats in the town of Heraklion. Both have been contacted and are willing to accept people at request for 2-3 weeks. One of the the squats is located at the campus of the Technological Institute of Crete in Heraklion, has internet access, a good Linux library and some linux users, both novice and experts that lives there. The other is located near to Heraklion town center. More information can be provided by sending an email to the LBW2007 mailing list.
